The client approached with a request to create a comprehensive application within tight deadlines. The objective was to design an interface that is not only user-friendly but also cost-effective in terms of development.
The product comprises a mobile application for service booking and a web application for managing these services.

Throughout the project was close collaboration with business analysts, front-end and back-end developers. Compromises in design solutions had to be made due to speed of implementation requirements and constraints arising from the integration of existing solutions.
Effective communication with the project manager and testers was maintained to achieve optimal results with the available resources.

Simultaneous design of mobile and web application
Simultaneous design of mobile and web application
As front-end development began just a week after initiating the design phase and proceeded concurrently for both the web and mobile applications. As the sole designer on the project, I had to deliver layouts in segments without the ability to test them comprehensively within the entire application.
I interacted with the initial client documentation and subsequent requirements from the business analyst. The application was divided into key features, gradually transitioning into development.

material 3 design system and challenges
material 3 design system and challenges
Initial challenges arose due to the chosen design system, as it was relatively new, and many web interface components were labeled as "unstable" at that time. Consequently, the developer had to opt for Material-UI (MUI), which is generally similar to material design system 2.
Since design was done in parts and immediately handed over for development, modifications to the initial components were not feasible. Hence, compromises were made in certain areas to ensure that MUI components closely resembled those from MDS 3. In subsequent designs, I aimed to use components available in MUI.

limitation of integrated systems
limitation of integrated systems
The application integrated several ready-made solutions, necessitating an understanding of their functionalities to create interfaces aligned with their capabilities. For instance, to enable in-app communication, Agora's chat feature was integrated, already customized to match the application's style. This required delving into documentation and testing the application's demo version to comprehend its capabilities and limitations. Additionally, Stripe was employed for payments, OpenMap for navigation, and S3 for storage and file management.
